Czech–Belgian Security Collaboration Strengthened at Prague House Forum

EO Security participated in the “Smart Security & Defence: Cross‑Perspectives from the Czech Republic and Belgium” business forum held at the Prague House in Brussels, organized by CzechTrade Belgium & Luxembourg in cooperation with the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Brussels, with support from AOBP, Agoria BSDI, Plzeň Region, and the Representation of the South Moravian Region to the EU. The event brought together more than 50 representatives from industry, security services of both countries, the European Commission, and the Permanent Representation of the Czech Republic to the EU.

The program opened with remarks by H.E. Jakub Skalník, Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Belgium; Jiří Hynek, President of AOBP; and Frédéric Givron, General Manager of Belgian Security & Defence Industry. During the forum, H.E. Vladimír Bärtl, Ambassador of the Czech Republic to the EU, addressed questions on EU funding for defence and security.

EO Security showcased its tactical SIGINT solution EO Spectre and its anti‑eavesdropping Speech Protectors line. The forum focused on European defence, SME participation in EDF and ECCC programmes, cybersecurity, AI, satellite communications and infrastructure protection, and the role of innovation in strengthening Europe’s strategic autonomy. Participants emphasized the importance of involving small and medium‑sized enterprises in defence and security programmes to deliver practical innovation.

The program also included the ceremonial signing of a cooperation memorandum between AOBP and Agoria — BSDI, marking a step toward deeper Czech–Belgian collaboration in the defence and security industry.
