Shielded case is designed according to the Faraday cage principle. It serves as a complete protection of the laptop against eavesdropping and location tracking using navigation systems. Access to all mobile networks used worldwide is blocked, including the 5G network. The case is suitable both for protection when traveling and during your meetings as well as at home.

The material from which the shielding case is made effectively dissipates unwanted electrical signals and prevents their penetration into the case. Instead, the charge is distributed only over the outer surface of the Faraday cage. The device inside the case is thus comprehensively protected against a wide spectrum of different signals.

Cases are also popular with forensics experts, allowing them to protect evidence from remote manipulation. In addition, the laptop in the shielded case is also protected from connecting to fake Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC points, which are widely used by hackers to gain access to the device. You can also use the Faraday cage for a laptop as a case for cards with RFID chips.

Faraday enclosures from EO SECURITY are tested at the Bundeswehr University in Neubiberg, Germany according to ASTM D-4935-2010, IEEE-Standard 299-2006 and MIL-Standard 285.

Attenuation of 90 dB means the passage of approximately one billionth of the initial power. Compared to the attenuation values ​​of commonly available Faraday cases (60 dB), this is a thousand times better result.

Measured shielding values ​​of Generation 4 and Generation M with 6+6 protective layers:

  • 900 MHz: 92 dB
  • 1.8 GHz: 102 dB
  • 2.1 GHz: 101 dB
  • 2.45 GHz: 100 dB
  • 2.6 GHz: 100 dB
  • 3.2-3.8 GHz: 96 dB
